  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 (3-ounce) packages ramen noodles
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cracked red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Sesame seeds (garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Boil water in a medium pot and cook ramen noodles for 2-3 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water; drizzle with sesame oil.
  3. Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Season sirloin with salt and pepper; cook until browned. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté broccoli with olive oil and water until bright green.
  5. Combine steak and ramen with broccoli in the skillet. Pour sauce over everything and mix until heated through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
