  • 6 ounces semisweet chocolate (for ganache)
  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  2. Melt semisweet chocolate and butter together until smooth.
  3. Whisk sugars and eggs in a bowl; add vanilla extract.
  4. Combine melted chocolate mixture with the sugar mixture.
  5. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt; gently fold into wet ingredients.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. For ganache, heat cream until simmering, pour over chopped chocolate, let sit, then stir until smooth.
