- 2 pounds chuck steak, cubed

- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 cups beef broth
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté onions until translucent (3-4 minutes), then add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add cubed chuck steak and brown on all sides.
- Stir in bell peppers and cook until softened (about 2 minutes).
- Mix in tomato paste and diced tomatoes; cook for another 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir; cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and stir in seasonings (salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder). Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
- Cover and let simmer for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
