  • 1 lb Monon Meats Smoked Sausage (thinly sliced)
  • 2 lbs potatoes (diced)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 onion (finely diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced smoked sausage until fully cooked. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent (about 3–5 minutes).
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, cooked sausage, sautéed onion and garlic, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown and potatoes are tender.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
