- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate the diced chicken in a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper for 10–15 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce by whisking together remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), black pepper, salt, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), and cornstarch slurry.
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken until golden brown; set aside.
- Sauté onion and garlic in the same skillet until fragrant.
- Add cabbage, bell pepper, and carrot; stir-fry until vegetables are tender yet crisp.
- Return chicken to the skillet and pour in the sauce. Stir well and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes to meld flavors.
- Serve hot with green onions as garnish.
