  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 12 oz gluten free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded parmesan
  • 1/4 cup pasta water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Boil farfalle pasta in a large pot according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Season chicken breasts with paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Sear the seasoned chicken in olive oil over medium heat until golden brown on both sides; then cook through.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and add shallots and Italian seasoning; simmer for one minute.
  5. Stir in gluten-free flour, then pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; whisk until smooth.
  6. Mix shredded Parmesan cheese into the sauce until melted and creamy.
  7. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if necessary to reach desired consistency.
  8. Slice chicken and serve on top of pasta.
