Instructions

- In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and almond extract until combined.

- Transfer batter to the loaf pan and bake for 45–50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Prepare the glaze with powdered sugar and buttermilk; pour over cooled bread and top with nonpareils.
