  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon (for cinnamon sugar mixture)
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened (for filling)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for filling)
  • 1 egg (for filling)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla (for filling)
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls (for dough layers)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon for the topping.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the remaining sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix until creamy.
  4. Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on the bottom.
  5. Roll out one can of dough into a flat sheet and place it in the pan over the cinnamon sugar layer.
  6. Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the dough.
  7. Roll out the second can of dough similarly and place it on top of the filling.
  8. Sprinkle any leftover cinnamon sugar on top and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
