- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- ½ cup water or beef broth
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 1 tsp grated ginger (optional)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate the beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, rice vinegar, and sesame oil for at least 15 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and water in a bowl; set aside.
- Heat oil in a skillet over high heat; cook the marinated beef for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet.
- Stir-fry bell peppers and onion for about 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp; add garlic and ginger.
