Ingredients

  • 450 g ribeye steak
  • 300 g rigatoni
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup double cream
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil, butter, seasonings

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steaks with paprika, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and set aside.
  2. Heat a frying pan over high heat and sear the seasoned steaks for about 1 minute on each side until browned. Add butter to baste the steaks and let them rest.
  3. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the rigatoni until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  4. In the same frying pan, sauté diced onion and minced garlic in butter until soft. Add chicken stock and double cream; season to taste.
  5. Stir in grated parmesan until melted, then mix in the rigatoni and chopped parsley.
  6. Cut the rested steak into cubes and serve on top of the pasta.
