- 450 g ribeye steak
- 300 g rigatoni
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup double cream
- ½ cup chicken stock
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- Olive oil, butter, seasonings
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks with paprika, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and set aside.
- Heat a frying pan over high heat and sear the seasoned steaks for about 1 minute on each side until browned. Add butter to baste the steaks and let them rest.
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the rigatoni until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
- In the same frying pan, sauté diced onion and minced garlic in butter until soft. Add chicken stock and double cream; season to taste.
- Stir in grated parmesan until melted, then mix in the rigatoni and chopped parsley.
- Cut the rested steak into cubes and serve on top of the pasta.
