  • 2 Tbsp paprika
  • 1 Tbsp seasoned salt
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
  • 2 racks pork spareribs
  • 1 bottle Kansas City-style barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Prepare a grill pan or baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the dry rub ingredients. Pat the ribs dry, then trim excess fat and silver skin.
  3. Generously season both sides of the ribs with the dry rub. For deeper flavor, refrigerate for up to 24 hours if desired.
  4. Place ribs on the prepared pan and bake for about 2½ hours, checking for tenderness.
  5. Once tender, brush barbecue sauce on top and bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes until caramelized.
  6. Let rest before slicing between the bones and serve with extra sauce on the side.
