  • 16 string cheese (cut in half crosswise)
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Italian style breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons milk
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs mixed with milk, and the last with seasoned breadcrumbs.
  2. Coat each piece of string cheese first in flour, then dip it into the egg mixture, followed by the breadcrumbs. For extra crunch, repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating.
