  • ½ cup cornstarch

Instructions

  4. Heat oil to 350ºF and fry chicken until golden brown (about 3 minutes per side) and internal temperature reaches 165ºF.
  5. Mix hot oil from frying with brown sugar and spices for the sauce; baste fried chicken immediately.
  6. Assemble sandwiches by spreading mayonnaise on toasted buns, adding fried chicken, coleslaw, and pickles.
