  • ½ green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ⅔ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 16oz spaghetti (or preferred noodle)
  • 3 ½ cups water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté shredded cabbage and carrots for about 5 minutes until tender.
  2. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, ground mustard, ground ginger, and garlic powder to the pot. Mix well.
  3. Add spaghetti and pour in water. Cook uncovered for 15-18 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  4. Remove from heat and toss in sesame seeds before serving.
