  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 4 tsp Water
  • 2/3 cup Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp Orange Zest
  • 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Ginger (minced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Combine with remaining sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Line a baking sheet with oiled aluminum foil and place salmon filets skin-side down.
  4. Baste each filet with half of the prepared sauce; reserve the rest.
  5. Bake for approximately 14 minutes or until flaky.
  6. Broil for one minute after basting with remaining sauce for extra flavor.
  7. Serve over steamed rice, garnished as desired.
