  • 2 chicken breasts (500g total)
  • 35g plain flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Spices: paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, black pepper, cayenne pepper
  • 180ml vegetable oil
  • For the sauce: mayonnaise, honey, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, apple cider vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together sauce ingredients and set aside.
  2. Crush pretzels in a food processor or zip-lock bag until coarsely crumbed.
  3. Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour (mixed with half the spices), one with beaten eggs, and one with crushed pretzels (mixed with remaining spices).
  4. Slice chicken breasts into cutlets and dredge each in flour, then egg, and finally coat in pretzel crumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until sizzling. Fry cutlets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
