  • 1 lb raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1/4 cup green onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse the shrimp until coarsely ground. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  2. Combine the shrimp with breadcrumbs, beaten egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  3. Wet your hands and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place on parchment paper.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the shrimp balls in batches for about 3–4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
