Ingredients
- 6 oz strawberry Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 1/2 cups salted pretzels
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for crust)
- 8 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
- 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
- 1 lb fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a mixing bowl, dissolve strawberry Jell-O in boiling water; set aside to cool.
- Crush pretzels in a Ziploc bag using a rolling pin. In a saucepan, melt butter and mix in sugar and crushed pretzels. Press into a greased 13×9 dish and bake for 10 minutes; allow to cool.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; fold in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled pretzel crust. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Mix strawberries into the cooled Jell-O and pour over the cream cheese layer. Chill until set, about 2-4 hours.
