- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound 90% lean ground beef
- 1 (1-ounce) packet taco seasoning
- 1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 (9.25-ounce) bag corn chips (Doritos, plain tortilla chips, or Fritos)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, cilantro, sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of canola oil over medium heat. Sauté 1 diced onion for about 5 minutes until softened, then add 3 minced garlic cloves.
